My daughter has the S9 and she is having an issue with the notification on text message.. if does not ring.. there is a "crossed off bell icon" on all of the messages of the App.. please help.. I've been trying to figure it out on my own..
Open the Samsung Messages app & Click on the Three Dot Menu Top Right - Then on the next screen - Ensure that Notifications are Toggled On & You should be good 🐧
Check the volume settings. Volume up, when the pop up appears swipe down and ensure the notifications volume is toggled to desired volume. Could be simple as that. I forget to tiggle mine back on sometimes.
