not sure where you are getting your expert info from but you are spreading lies.
Brightness slider works the same after upgrade as before.
You should maybe wait till you actually get the update and see something for real before you bash it

I think they're taking about this quick setting for brightness. It acts as an overlay on top of the app when adjusting the brightness.
