I just got my phone about a week ago and everything was very fast and long battery life. bit ever since I updated to nouget 2 days ago it's been slow and the battery has been draining faster. there are also lag spikes when hitting the home buttons and recent apps and turning the screen on.
if you can afford to, do a factory reset. You can also try to wipe the cache partition. I had battery issues after updating as well but wiping the cache partition helped me. now my battery last super long.
Wiping the cache partition does not erase data on your phone. if you chose to do it the steps are: power off the phone> when the phone is fully off>hold power button, home button and volume up key simultaneously. release the power button as soon as the phone comes on while still holding volume up and the home button. wait a few seconds, then use the volume down button to choose the wipe cache partition option and press the power button to confirm.
