phone freezes when I select images after a google search

It's been 2 weeks that after I do a search on Google and choose images, my phone freezes for a few seconds and I can't scroll down. Any tips?

There's been a bit of a back & forth with Google Search & Images - You used to be able to download the images directly - Then you had to find the images in download manager - Then it was back to download directly - Currently it's looking like you need to find them in download manager again - depending on the version of Google search you have.

But that's not related to your freezing issues

Settings - Apps - Scroll down to Google Search - Storage & Clear Cache and Data there

I just cleared the cache but it still freezes. By the way I have an S8

Do you have the latest version of Google installed - But either way it's weird... If you only cleared cache - Clear Data as well - The device doesn't matter

Had that happen to me too. I uninstalled then reinstalled then did not let it auto update. That was on my Note 9...no issues yet.

Hmm, that's an interesting bug... maybe try the fix that @Samesung suggested and see if that works for you?

Sounds like this is an issue on Google's end though.
