Hey, I just bought a s10 and I was trying to play with my ps4 controller, but the mapping is completly wrong.. Either on otg cable or bluetooth it's unresponsive, the square gives me L1, L2 gives me share etc.

What should I do? Is there something I can do other than rooting the system? It's really weird that on a phone that's marketed as a gaming phone, the mapping is wrong :')

You can use a ps4 controller on the S10:
1) turn on the bluetooth on the S10 and ps4.
2) press and hold SHARE and PLAYSTATION keys on the controller until the light bar on the controller turns on.
3) light bar on the controller signifies that it is searching for bluetooth devices
4) ps4 controller pops up on the "pair new device screen".
5) the controller should pop up on the screen as "wireless controller.
6) press "wireless controller" to connect to the S10.
You should then be all set and ready to go.
If the phone has been marketed as gaming, I am pretty sure that means the phone has the proper screen resolution and sound for playing video games.

Try using this app to remap the buttons. Also if you connect wirelessly to the Old controller, the input lag makes it unplayable.
