read report.

Okay, every now and then when i send a message to my friend i get a read report message and it's annoying. Ive turned them off in the settings but it still appears.  Does anyone have a solution for this or is experiencing the same problem?

Are you talking about this?

Open Messages→3 dots( right hand top corner)→ Settings→ More settings→ Text messages

Make sure Delivery Reports is disabled.

Also Messages→3 dots( right hand top corner)→ Settings→ More settings→ Multimedia message

Disable Read Report and Delivery Report.

Ok, try the following:

Open Settings→ Apps→ Messages→ Storage

Clear data and clear cache
Restart your phone and test again if you still have delivery report.

Your friend must disable this setting on his phone

she has an Iphone. that's probably why.
