strange @ symbol being added to in coming and outgoing texts

For the past couple of days my outgoing text messages have been showing up with @ symbol on the end and some in coming texts are also having it added.  This is so annoying

I haven't seen this happen - You might want to post a screen shot (after obscuring personal information) So that others may get a better idea of the issue...

it could be q carrier issue.... I would give them a call just to check.
