Sensationalism. No thank you. SIM Swapping is a real issue but nowhere near as bad as this suggests it is. This ain't even hacking man!!!!

News sites don't know anything about tech and they blow it out of proportion. Mass tech sites are even worse. You need to read serious tech sites to have full understanding of those issues.

social engineering is a form of hacking it just is one where deception and impersonation are used rather than technical vulnerabilities... the vulnerability being exploited is human.
