Just a heads up to anybody thinking about buying a SmartThings Hub there are so many issues with these things I can't even begin to describe them namely devices showing wrong statuses disappearing devices no notifications I've contacted Samsung numerous times and have still yet to get a message that isn't generically sent that to everybody. I've been doing home automation for over 10 years this by far is a dinky car compared to real home automation controllers their customer support absolutely **bleep**.
no surprise coming from Samsung.
No way to backup your configurations.. in the past two days I've had to re-set up 25 devices and I'm still having issues with notifications with no response. I'll give it another week and I'll have to go back to my homeseer hometroller once again which was working fine before I upgraded to this toy.
