The experience was amazing, from the moment I landed it was as if i was a celebrity lol I had a nice relaxing flight that was all paid for, my luggage was delayed but Samsung made sure to keep tabs on it until it arrived at the hotel for me. After baggage claim, i was greeted by a sign guy! with an official Samsung Members sign who escorted me to our own personal driver! We headed to the hotel and Samsung did not cheap out, this hotel was stunning, there will be a picture below but you should check it out as well, it was called Hotel Princesa Sofia. As soon as i got into the lobby i was escorted to the mezzanine where Samsung had booked a lounge. I was greeted by Samsung Representatives who introduced me to everyone, they had some delicious refreshments and then i was given a swag bag AND a specially designed Samsung Members cookie. The swag bag was insane, it had a Samsung Members sweater, sunglasses, selfie stick, some snacks, a portable 5100Mah Samsung fast charger AND our own personal walk around WiFi's(MyFi's)! I didn't even know those existed but it was so cool!
After that it was just surprise after surprise. First off, we had a rooftop party where we met with our fellow members as well as members from 8 other countries! There were 4 members selected from each country and they were all amazing people who love Samsung and tech just as much as the rest of us. We had a little ice breaker session where we drew names and then found the person and found out 2 interesting facts, we then got the opportunity to volunteer to present what you learned and so I did and got myself an FC Barcelona scarf! I met with Marcin (Mar-Chen) who is in school to become an Aircraft mechanic! After dinner and speeches we headed up to get changed and then back down to go on a "night tour" only instead we were surprised with tickets to an FC Barcelona game where Barcelona went 6-1 crushing the other team, the best part was the crowd though, so much culture and so much passion it was insane to be a part of that. After that we got to go back to sleep in our AMAZING private hotel rooms! (Side note, Samsung even paid the additional expense for early check in because I arrived at 12 and check in wasn't til 3)
All the food we had throughout the trip was soo good, we got to experience all kinds of cultural foods as well as really good wines (I don't drink at all but I wanted to experience it all and im glad i did) I tried everything because you only get an opportunity like this once!
