I know this is long but there's just so much, ill try to sum up the rest of this trip but i really wanted to share this experience with all of you!
We got to explore all the culture in the city with guided tours (also we had a Mercedes Benz coach bus, how insane is that!?), we ate at various places all with different styles of serving food and entertainment. We ate in a museum, we had tapas, we had live flamenco performances, we ate on the waterfront, toured various parts of the city, explored La Sagrada Familia , just above and beyond, Samsung did not cheap out at all.
The most exciting part of all this though was the main event, Samsung Unpacked 2018 where we witnessed the unveiling of the new Galaxy S9 and S9+. Being there live has been a dream of mine since the Note 3 and I finally got the chance to be there and it blew me away. The phone is magnificent, the capabilities of the camera are just unbelievable, Samsung has really accomplished something phenomenal, when i get the device I'll be sure to write a full review:) The best part of this was that we got to take some selfies with DJ Koh (I missed out on mine but I was write behind him in the group shot so I pretty much got my selfie lol) As we left the event, we got another swag bag that contained this collection of Olive Oils in these really neat bottles and some Turron (it's like an almond candy bar type thing). We also got the chance to explore MWC which was also pretty spectacular, Samsung definitely stole the show with all kinds of fun stuff to do plus it was like a museum of everything Samsung, words can't even begin to describe it. Me and SnowCat19 faced off in a fitness alpine skiing game, i won ;) i came 2nd out of 4 total but you know. Sadly, because of our flights we missed out on brunch BUT they decided to surprise us even further with GEAR ICON X'S as a parting gift. I was blown away, i've always wanted a pair but couldn't afford them and they just gave them to us for free.
Our flight back home had cancellations and was messy ( Samsung did everything they could to aid us including booking extra hotel stays) but me and Aleem met so many more people there and they were all so cool! It's amazing how we all connected and made the best of what should've been a terrible flight. I wanted to connect with them on social media and take some selfies with them but i left something on the plane and then lost everyone:'( Anyways, trip was awesome and i really hope i can experience it again!
