TV KS8500 dark shadow on TV

I've got a KS8500, which is a curved screen 55 inch, SUHD, that has a dark shadow just right of center, that goes length of TV from bottom to top.  It is always there; doesn't matter what the source is.  This is apparently common with the KS series.  Has anyone had any luck fixing this?  Thank you.

Sounds like a led bulb has burned out, Samsung TVs aren't known for longevity unfortunately.
