looking for recommendations

Looking to buy a Samsung for my dad. Between the A and J series..or the older ones, the S7..which one would you folks recommend?  

WhatsApp, email, browsing, but do need some memory space. 

He has a very old Samsung with only 8 GB of memory and its starting to show its age.

You could see the A20. Nice, S9 compact, 350. I wouldn't buy the J phones because they aren't much good.

Or you could get him an S7. Much better screen, IP68, better SoC... Check the prices and what he needs his phone for and what characteristics he's looking for.

If the HD+ display is not good enough on the A20 but the rest is good, look for the A50 (bigger) or the A8 2018 (more premium but a bit older)

I would go with the S7 .. I know its 3 yrs old now but still a very good phone and I am thinking you'll get some great deal on it, plus it was a flagship phone.

I still have mine for travel purposes so I can put a local Sim card in and still a good phone
