Since I got my new samsung Galaxy S10 I have issues with my snapchat app and sometimes with messenger too when it's time to take some picture the focus does'nt work. The picture is blurry and after some try and try the blurry disapear but it take some time ! Have you some tricks for that? What is the utility of snapchat if takes you 1minute to take 1 picture ?
Snapchat and other socmed apps are too lazy with their android development due to the plethora of devices they have to optimise it for. Snapchat have tried 'redesigning' the android app ,trying to fix their camera issue, but to no avail. (Before the update, they weren't even using the camera to capture photos but creates a screen capture of what the camera was currently seeing.) It is more useable nowadays, because it was way worse, but it is still not up to par with iPhone due to the app being optimised way better for iPhones than Android. As per your problem, I find it better to just capture photos on the main camera app before putting it out on any social media apps. If you want straight from snapchat, try cleaning the camera sensors first, (First and foremost thing to check if any app using the camera cannot focus on a subject.) If that does not work, then clear the app cache, if that does not work as well, try uninstalling and reinstalling the application. Its working fine for me, I have the S10+.
