I would suggest for samsung to develop a separate video player app

Leave alone the video gallery or the native video player with in the gallery app

I miss things like being able to shuffle during video playback, seeing my video playlist with in the player app, and separating the videos from my pictures gallery .

They do have a app for just video http://apps.samsung.com/appquery/appDetail.as?appId=com.samsung.android.videolist&cId=000004627396

If you also hit albums tab on the default gallery app that helps be organized

Yes, As suggested by vape, Samsung does have a video library player which helps to organize the video content within the player. However, if you would like us to add additional features, we will take this as a feedback.
