Shouldn't Step and Heart Rate Data Sync Automatically

I have a Samsung Galaxy Fit and I am noticing that the step and heart rate data are only synced when I open the Samsung Health app and go to its Home page. (Samsung Health said it had been 8 hours since the last sync.) Shouldn't this syncing occur automatically?

Seems like the connection between your phone and Galaxy Fit disconnected. Try disable bluetooth and enable it on your phone. Then open Samsung Health again and see if it start syncing or not.

That's normal it's to save battrey for the watch and phone.... Just think how much faster both would die if they were always syncing.
