i had the same problem and figured out in order to use your samsung to tap to pay you need to have a more secure sim card and i think with telus it costed me $15.00 to upgrade this

Telus ripped you off tell them you wanted your money back! 15 bucks for a sim card? I wouldn't pay no more than 5! Rbc wallet works fine for me too but Samsung pay is better for the fact it works with all terminals. Unlike the banking apps.

Samsung pay should be introduced in Canada by the end of the year.
