You can add CIBC debit card on phone Samsung Pay. But not on the Galaxy Watch. Samsung Pay on Watch not support debit card. Only credit cards.

I'm having the same problem. Using the phone, adding the cibc card says the details are invalid. I've triple checked the details, but it won't accept it.

I have the same problem. I have spoken with Samsung support and they confirmed this is a bank issue. The CIBC card support confirmed that this is Samsung wallet app issue.

I cannot believe This! I am stuck with this issue for a week now and no one knows the solution
