My Secure Folder App Doesn't Work

I have a Samsung A8 and my secure folder app doesn't really work. My gmail is still accessible by just going to the app, And all the secure folder does is lock itself up. Has anybody experienced this? Please help.

Doesn't work mean? Can't access secure folder or can't see secure folder icon anymore?

I can enter the app and see the icon, but nothing has happened to my "locked" apps. They're still accessible, as with all of the things I do on them.

If you have this option, make sure its on.
