If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it 
Google team sent me a message saying that my gmail account will be deleted and to remove all my content from the account if someone can tell me how to stop my account from being deleted please I have lots of pics and content on the account I really need it

If you're using it i don't think that'll happen.
Google+ is going to be discontinued and anything within that will be gone.
Paste the email you got.

Ok it's what i thought. Do you use Google+? You won't lose your email at all.
Google+ is umm... like this i think. Forums, groups. Do you use it? Click on the app and see. You'll have plenty of time before anything is deleted. If you aren't familiar with the app i don't think you need to do anything at all.

if you don't have the app you can ignore the message.
But if you're unsure install it if possible. (if you can't you're fine).
All other apps such as photos, drive... anything... you don't need to change.

if you don't know what's going to happen. then you shouldn't worry about it. gmail and all your photos safe.
