DIGITAL NOTE TAKING: GALAXY TAB A 10.0" 2019

I'm looking to buy a tablet to use for digital note taking and digital planning. Does this work with a stylus?  Has anyone used this tablet for note taking? I tried to look on youtube but most the note taking videos and made with iPads.

900 yes I know. But I'd rather think that the wait would have been more painful than the extra cash. Also it bypasses the whole "craze" of the Black Friday sales so that's less stress so more value

colour doesn't matter to me. I dont think that's in my budget 😕

In that case, I suggest the Tab A 8.0 Plus 2019 SM-P200. Or the Tab A 10.1 2016 with S-Pen if you need something bigger.

Or you can check the Tab S3 or S4 too but they're more expensive.

Everybody recommend it because you tell us you want to take Note with stylus. .
Stylus = S-Pen and tablet with S-Pen are reserve the Top tablet at Samsung

If you want to take Note on a keyboard, Galaxy Tab A is OK

Will not works...Screen of Tab S3 S4 S6 are made to works with those kind of pen...

Tab S4 S-Pen don't need to be charge because You can't use it as a device controller but S-Pen for the Tab S6 is taking his charge from the tablet to operate some application like the camera at a certain distance

For handwriting, you need S-Pen, if you just want to type your Notes on a keyboard, Tab A 2019 is OK BUT buy the  128 gigs version, it's in special now at $ 299 there : (read the reviews)

Also, don't make the mistake to buy Tab S5e, it has BIG WI-FI problems

3rd party styluses are basically rubbish. It's as precise as using your fingers. S-Pens are incredibly powerful and precise input devices that can emulate any kind of pen, crayon, brush... you name it.

The Tab A 10.1 2019 does not come with such pen. All the devices I named you, SM-P200, SM-P580, SM-T820, SM-T830, SM-T860, come with high precision S-Pens.

If you only want to type using a keyboard, any tablet will do, as Cassidy said.
