SM-P550 any new Security Updates?

How does Samsung decide on when security updates are pushed out to tablets? I've got a Tab A that hasn't had a security update since 2017 (December 2017), was the August 2017 update. 

Wondering if I have to manually do it, or is it well beyond its life of recieving security updates?

Your Tab A 9.7 2015 with S-Pen is out of support. It won't get anything else ever again.
