Hey Samsung Members!

As we near the middle of August some of us are dreading back to school, and others of us are psyched about it.  Either way, most of us will be heading to the mall or online to do some back to school shopping.  Tell us what your ‘must have’ item is to head into September – and why you can’t live without it!  Don’t forget to post in the Lifestyle section with the hashtag #Member Mondays

Times sure have changed in the past 20 yrs of human history around back-to-school must-haves in First World and Western countries. I am a high school teacher and specialist, with a daughter studying Psychology in University. We both value reliable smart phones, and our laptops for school, along with *reliable*:
□ memory storage (portable, durable, plus safe cloud storage access);
□ wireless all-in-one ink & energy efficient printers;
□ wi-fi access and plans that are affordable and adequate;
□ portable rechargers;
□ portable power back-ups;
□ screen protectors;
□ and decent useful ergonomic cases.

The latter two are needed because our respective campuses and schools have very hard flooring and walkways if you drop your tech! Trekking tech no hit the deck, while we schlepp and prep!

The rechargers and extra portable power supplies are needed because the amount of people with technology far exceeds the number of outlets available at our learning sites, plus the school I teach at is a digital high school... Almost everything is done online.

All that being said... I totally love the previous posters' ideas about tropical vacations!🌴🏖

I like your ideas better than the others. While Fiji does sound amazing, it only lasts a couple weeks at best.

I can barely remember school it was so long ago lol. Twenty years ago when I was still pretty young, I had to leave the job market due to disabilities. Now I'm kinda old, on 24 hour supplemental oxygen and spend the vast majority of time in my bed.
The things I would love to get in September are:
1) A pair of size 8 gym sneakers.
2) A membership to the all-women's gym a block down the street from me (my Doctor said light exercise would be really good for me and since I quit smoking I put on like 20 or 30 pounds)
3) A really good laptop so I have something more than my tablet when I'm unable to get out of bed.
4) Two nice pair of glasses in my prescription (I've had the prescription for quite a while I just can't find a 2-for-1 glasses sale, or find the money for two nice pair of glasses. I'm afraid if I don't get a 2-for-1 deal that I will never get a second pair and I can be really hard on glasses)
5) A printer (Something simple that I won't lose entire ink cartridges if I don't use it every day. Black and white would be good enough for me although colour would put me on cloud nine!!).

I am on government disability so I don't get much money. I save what I can after paying rent, bills, buying food and necessities.
I put away money but something more important or more urgent than what I'm saving for always seems to come up and the money gets spent.
