Gear app won't update

The gear app says there is a new version available but I see no option to update. 

I went to the galaxy store and there are no updates there either.

Any suggestions?

that's for your gear icon x plugin not the gear app. hehe

if you connect your gear icon x, i believe it will automatically update..

or connect your gear icon x then go to that app again see if you have updates.

It didn't update so what I did was get the latest APK from apkmirror 😁
