Hello Nirvana1927, if you think your phone is compromized or someone is controlling your phone, I would suggest doing a Factory Reset. But please make sure that you backup your data but leave your apps. You can just reinstall that later. This is to make sure that no malware app gets through after the Factory Reset.
There is also this issue called "Ghost touch". There's no ghosts involve but it could be that the touch screen panel of your phone is defective or may have been damaged.
The best way forward is if you still have your warranty. Please take your phone to the nearest Samsung store for repair. Thanks and I hope this helps.
