same concern, sometimes it won't even charge unless properly placed inside the case. Read somewhere that it's normal but that was way back not sure if it shoukd be normal.
you need go to samsung service center replace it, my right buds live drain battery almost 30% per hour, left side only more or less 17%, I sent to service center, they replaced both side, cause if replace only one side, it won't be paired. Screenshot the battery draining record, so you can show to them.
were your buds still under warranty? Kind of want to get mine checked as it's so hard to charge the right bud sometimes (it charges but I have to move it to a specific angle) but then I got my buds + phone in March so it's been a while.
