Galaxy watch active 2. Great match.

The original Galaxy Watch is more durable and has better tactile feedback due to the rotating bezel. It has the same features as the Active models, minus the disabled ECG on the Active 2. I suggest this one. There aren't really any reasons to pick the Active models.

Depends on your needs.

Need a watch that has long battery life and is durable and built for use? Galaxy Watch. 46mm or 42mm depending on your wrist size.

Need a lightweight watch but still has decent battery life? Galaxy Watch Active 2, 44mm.

On a budget and need just the essentials or want it for a somewhat fashion piece? Galaxy Watch Active 1.

I wouldn't due to the chemicals and the heat. Swimming pools aren't so bad as long as is not treated by salt.
