They haven't updated any apps or introduced new apps on my Gear S3 for the last few months. I wish it has android wear os on it. This reminds me of 2012 top model samsung tv. After a year or so, all app developments were abandoned and they started removing apps like skype and YouTube.

happend to me as well. But I think it was youtube and Skype who stopped supporting the tvs, I could be wrong though

You are right. Samsung abandoned the Bada os on TVs, so developers followed suit. Same for Tizen, developers don't want to develop for that where they can make more money developing for Android and iOS.
