watch issues since pie update

Hello, since the new pie update my gear s2 doesn't receive notifications but everything is paired and works independently like normal. I'm currently using the galaxy s9+. I've done a factory reset on the watch and that didn't fix anything. Any ideas to get the notifications to work again or is it a bug in the update?

make sure ur phone isn't in do not disturb mode or or setup ddm to receive notifications

Hey @dinglenutz,

Have you checked your settings in the Samsung Gear app? Make sure that the apps you'd like to see notifications from are checked in the Manage Notifications section of the Gear app. Also, please double check that Limit Notifications is turned off.

If this doesn't work, we can troubleshoot further 😊
