I zoomed in. Since there is a glass door between us I was able to be fairly close. One of the squirrels will come up to me and take the peanut from my hand.
He is on the other side of our patio door. I did zoom in, but he was also very close. I've lived here 5 years and there is one female black squirrel that knows us well. She is very cautious but she has taken peanuts from me. In the Spring of 2019 these babies were born. She was pregnant so I know some of these young ones are hers. I didn't spend enough time out there this past summer to get the new babies use to me. I don't see Momma squirrel as much now. The 4 new babies (born last Spring) keep chasing her away. She isn't a match for them to get the peanuts.
