SupportHi, Jongeth_!
Samsung's Expert RAW is an app you can download from the Galaxy Store that was launched along with the Galaxy S22 series, while Apple's proRAW is a version of their user-friendly RAW photography feature.
The Expert RAW is an app that offers a wide and dynamic range of the camera that will certainly enhance the darkest and brightest areas of your shot. It is a user-friendly RAW camera that you can use even in low light conditions while having control in your camera (as you can manually set its ISO, shutter speed, EV, manual focus, white balance, etc.)—however you want your shot to be. The photos can be saved in both JPEG and RAW formats, which can also be edited on apps or software that supports DNG files. With the recent One UI 4.1 update, you can now also use Expert RAW on Galaxy S21 Ultra, S20 Ultra, Note20 Ultra, Z Fold3, and Z Fold2 devices.

SupportExpert RAW captures 16-bit images, as opposed to Apple ProRAW, which maxes out at 12-bit. In theory, that means Expert RAW gives you more data to work with when post-processing. Bit depth refers to the tonal information stored in the image.
