The "talk to bixby without wakeup" function where you can answer phone call with voice command doesn't function if your language in Bixby is on UK language, you need to change to US language at the bixby language section in order for the Bixby to function. You may check at the Samsung forum regarding this issue.
The above comment is not correct!! For whatever reason (and I suspect an update at some stage caused this issue, because this function worked flawlessly for about a year) the "talk to bixby without wake up" function only very intermittently works. I also thought through experimenting that it was due to the English language, but even when I select "US", it still stops working. I use the timer as a test. It flashes "dismiss timer, or Restart" for only a few seconds, then the prompt disapears. Sometimes it flashes for over a minute, but after a period of time, am lucky to get the prompt for any more than about 5 secs. The same thing happens when trying to answer a call by the command "answer phone" I find this very frustrating and annoying..... but I guess most people would not use this function, so there is very little information that I can find about it, and very few, if any, complaints about it not working.
Ran into the same issue for the last couple of days. I use this function mainly to turn off my wake up alarm. I tried rebooting my phone, deleting and registering my voice again. Nothing worked. It shows response suggestions but just wouldn't respond to the commands.
