Uninstall from samsung s8

I recently did a full backup of all my Samsung S6 data to my iMac, using the S6's backup & restore app. I now want to restore this backup from the iMac to my Samsung S8. {Am unable to do a direct transfer from the S6 to the S8 because the S6's screen is cracked and unreadable.}

• Is this type of restoration doable?
• Can this be done via the Samsung Smart Switch app on the S8?
• Or can it only be done from the iMac?
• Are there any simple step-by-step instructions available for doing this?
• Will this overwrite any data that's already on the S8?

I wonder if SmartSwitch able to install on S6?

Probably not, with broken S6 screen. What about non-SmartSwitch restoration from the S8?

I don't know which backup and restore app you use for S6 backup. Theoretically, if you install the sane app on S8, you should able restore everything from S6 full backup.

Hi, If you had backed up the S6 data to Itunes on Mac, then you can able to restore the data using smart switch software.
