Ok so English au cannot speak proper English or use grammar properly. It keeps green underlining things that are correct adds a space when it doesn't need to and auto corrects words into gibberish. This is pathetic and it's the system that is flawed and nothing I've done. Apostrophes are there for a reason, why does it think they should be removed. I actually might start using google stuff instead.

I assume your system language is set to Aus English, but what about the keyboard?
Have you changed it from US English to Australian English?

Ok, so one issue that support helped me fix was the keyboard didn't understand apostrophes and kept underlining with green as well as wanting to put a comma in front of the word and... then, of course, it wants to auto correct words into gibberish... fixed now, but that should not have even been a thing in the first place

It's on English au. Why would I want American anything

On past devices, despite choosing the system language as AU English, I found the keyboard was by default set to US English.

This is why I asked.

Yeah, but even in America the apostrophes are in the same place. It was a simple reset and cache clear, but I still find this operating system sus... unnecessary permissions when things could be more streamlined, opens things up to privacy issues... I wish my country still did business with sony as I would have gotten the latest experia over s24 for certain

I'm not sure about permissions, I wonder if that's a Google thing since they develop Android 🤔

Well I'm talking specifically about Samsung apps, but anyway. I just figured a nearly $3000 phone would be put together a lot better..

Again this stupid keyboard can't speak English.. it now want to auto correct ( went from) to wentbfrom. Or it auto corrects then later the word is underlined and the spelling is what I originally wrote...
