There seems to be a lot of people with all different model phones having problems with One UI7. And most aren't. I have a new S25Ultra and have had no issues whatsoever. I find it for the most part pretty ugly. And I hate AI and have disabled and deleted as much of that as I can. But I run my icons, widgets etc same as I did with 6.1.
 So why are so many.have these problems? Are their phones infected with viruses and or malware? Do they not go through all their new settings and features properly and basically not understand the new update? Do they not realise that a lot of apps need to be updated after a major update? Or do they need a new phone? Anyone have a logical reason?

My screen briefly flickers when swapping between apps. And it's only done it since this stupid UI 7 update. Every time Samsung do one of these updates they manage to break something. Idiots.
I'm on an S23 ultra.

Its just strange how its affecting some phones and not others. That's not to say that it isn't effecting a lot of phone, because it obviously is. It just intrigues me as to why. I'm sure Samsung will listen to what's happening to others devices and come up with a bug fix for it. Hopefully soon. My partner has an S23 Ultra and it hasn't effected her phone. A lot are suggesting doing a cache partition deletion which has fixed some phones but not others. Hope your problem resolves for you.

Anecdotally speaking - I would say there are 4 potential triggers / clashes (or a combination of);

  1. Carrier-specific Firmware / Network profiles
  2. (Sort of extending to 1) Region-specific feature sets attached to the update
  3. Onboard hardware variations (e.g., Exynos vs Snapdragon, and firmware drivers in general)
  4. User Modifications (especially unlocked Bootloaders)

Agree. I'll add misbehaving apps too. I've seen complaints regarding battery draining fast, then saw an article pointing to WhatsApp as the issue. Google has released or will release a fix, but too many people have already put the blame on One UI 7 when it's a WhatsApp issue on Android 15.

Whatsapp and Instagram I've heard are big problems. Both Meta apps. So kinda makes sense.

After updating to one ui 7 on my tablet it got bricked as it says "Your tablet is locked because Device Services was uninstalled without authorisation". I had uninstalled the Device Services when I was still on One UI 6 and it worked fine for months until I updated to One UI 7 and it broke my tablet. I had to do a factory reset to un brick. Do not buy Samsung devices, you don't fully own them and Samsung can take away your access at any time if they wanted with the preinstalled malware disguised as Device Services.

That's usually a sign of a damaged charger socket or plug or battery connection to socket from a drop or pulling plug out incorrectly. Or water in socket or plug. Having said that, you need get for phone and charger and cable checked. Could even be corrosion on connection.
