Hey geeky types. About 3 months ago I started having problems sending txts and sms messages. It only happens in the hours from 3.00pm to 7.00pm every day. In frustration after hrs of searching for a fix on line, i violently smashed the phone (a 2 month old new Samsung A53) with a hammer.
So, I bought a refurbished S20. The issue continued with it.
My carrier, Telstra (Australia), can't help and the store i bought the phone from (Samsung Galaxy S20) can't help either.
Its doing my head in. I can't find any resolution online at all. The Samsung S20 manual has no mention.
Can anyone advise what is happening and a posdible fix please, before i smash this one too?

My previous comments considered general cell tower overload, but what if it is specific to your connection to the tower e.g. large equipment generating interference? In the country this can occur from electric femcing. . To identify crll tower direcyion load an app called Aus Phone Towers, as this will give a hand in identifying where to look.

OK. I bit the.bullet and performed a factory reset. All seems to be working as it should. No idea why it went haywire 3 months ago.
Anyway, thanks everyone for your suggestions. 🤙

Noice!
You might want to learn also how to clear partition cache via recovery mode of your phone. You can easily search the steps via google.
It's a good practice to do that after you perform any software update to your device. Or if yourr phone is acting weird.
This will not wipe your data, only the cache in your phone.
Saves me a lot of times instead of doing factory reset.
