Those impatient for OneUI 6

Yeah I got impatient too. 

So I changed my CSC to THL, OTA updated to OneUI 6, changed CSC back to XSA and then factory reset. Here's my impression:

The good:

- A lot of Samsung apps now can be uninstalled

- UI elements in the Settings app look nicer

- System animations feel smoother

- Battery feels same / slightly better

- Mostly nice UI changes

The bad:

- Some pre-installed Google apps and apps in general can't be uninstalled (I thought this was the whole point of A14)

- Some UI elements look inconsistent (not a fan of the new font, liked the older combo better)

- 'Confirm PIN without OK' missing

- Icons look HUGE in some places (not a fan)

The takeaway:

I really want to downgrade back. I like a lot of things from OneUI 5.1 better. You all need to just be patient and wait till it arrives. You're seriously not missing out on much. Cheers!

Note: we will not be officially getting the "BWJM" build of OneUI but the "BWK4" version. So when you guys receive the update, it will be the "BWK4" version, which should be the better one.

Though it's a way of getting hands on the new software, it's not recommended by Samsung as it could brick your device, all it takes is one wrong step or a bug in the software.

PIN with OK is on mine and works.
Try changing the font to Roboto if you don't like the new font.

Correct and correct. Hence why I didn't post any how to guides.

I'm taking about PIN "withOUT" OK. It's not there. I'm using SamsungOne

None officially that I know of. The CheckFirm app shows the latest as BWK4 so that's the one likely being released, skipping BWJM

Regarding BWK4, yeah I noticed that as well, but I thought you had confirmed it, either working for a Telco or knowing someone who does.

I just flashed the whole rom, yeah it's a much bigger download, but it's easier (I think).

Yeah no stress mate hahaha. NZ has gotten their hands on BWJM by the looks. Optus outage today hopefully doesn't affect testing.
