I am experiencing serious problems with my A15. I recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy A15, soon after setting up the phone I noticed the screen started to jitter, then apps would open by them selves, it was like something was controlling the phone, the gallery would open up and then photographs would be deleted one by one, then another apps would open up, some times ony on half of the screen, then what you see on the screen would continue to flicker and jitter, it's just horrendous and you have no control over the phone, even trying to restart it was a nightmare, when you can finally restart the phone it will temporarily settle down and then this happens all over again after an hour or two. I returned the phone to the place of purchase I received another new Galaxy 15, it did the same thing. I took the second phone into an authorised Samsung repair agent they could not find anything physically wrong with the phone's hardware, they reinstalled the firmware hoping that may be a fix, however within 24 hours of receiving the phone, again it started to display the same problems, this phone is an absolute disaster, over the last two weeks I've spent countless hours setting up the phone three times. After owning approximately five Samsung smart phones prior, with little to no problems, I now have totally lost confidence with the Samsung brand.

Low-end phones usually do have issues, and that's from all brands, not just Samsung.

Im not taking Samsung's side, though. They should make good Phone regardless of the price. However, this could be a hardware issue that happens to all range phones high to low end. It just happens.

I'd recommend trying a different brand if the budget is low ( like Oppo or Nokia )
Or pay a bit more and get A54/55.

I appreciate your reply and it does make some sense however I replaced this phone from an older Galaxy A20 which is also a low end phone, I had no problem whatsoever with the A20, I have transferred all of the apps via smart switch from the A20 to the A15, so the A20 which basically had the same setup, with no problems whatsoever. By the way I currently have the most updated version of the firmware on my phone and I have updated all of the apps as well, so they to are the latest, however nothing seems to have prevented these intermittent glitches, jitters and freeze ups.

Must be a hardware issue then. If you haven't bought it long ago, just see if they return it and get something else.
Just dont go Pixels. I have my bad experience with their phones.
Wireless charging and sharing broke in 9 months ( Pixel 7) and was replaced with a refurbished one. So i went back to Samsung and got it traded in with S23.

I have a S9 that has some network connection issues, but wireless charging still works fine.

My partner has Oppo and shes happy with it.

I'm not sure if you read my original post, however I had returned the phone and got another new A15, then the second one had the same issues once I had set the phone up. I then took it to an authorised Samsung repair centre they could not detect any faults with the hardware, after them reinstalling the new firmware from scratch, again I still had the same problems.

I was just about to "invest" in a new A15. I will now start looking elsewhere as a low income person I rely on low end tech.
I have bought Samsung Phones since 2011, approximately 11 phones, always traded up, never an issue until now.
Thank you for your info.

It is a pitty because I was quite happy with my previous model which was a Galaxy A20. To be fair this does seem a reasonably isolated problem. There will probably be a high chance that you won't experience the problems that I have with my A15, if you choose to purchase one, however I have noticed on other forums some people have experienced pretty much the exact problems that I have, but again I think it's fairly uncommon, though for me it's been very annoying and frustrating. I was informed by one guy at a large retailer who appeared to be fairly technically minded, he stated this kind of thing has happened before on lower end phones including an iPhone model, he tried to encourage me that over time with firmware updates and app updates the problem should slowly work itself out over time. I still have my A15 because I couldn't bare the thought of having to totally set up my phone again after having to do it three times in three weeks and it takes me about four to five hours each time to set up the phone. I have noticed the symptoms of my phone after the reinstall of the firmware at the authorised service centre and updating a few apps as well, the issues have already settled down a bit, however the phone does still jitter and freeze up one to two times a day and I have still have to force a restart, where initially it was happening about every one to three hours throughout the day.

That's right most people won't be expering this problem, if it was very widespread Samsung would have to recall the phone, however I've never seen anything like this with this with other models before with the A15 being my sixth Samsung smartphone. I have read in other forums some people experience the same problem as myself, thankfully it is fairly isolated though.
