I am experiencing serious problems with my A15. I recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy A15, soon after setting up the phone I noticed the screen started to jitter, then apps would open by them selves, it was like something was controlling the phone, the gallery would open up and then photographs would be deleted one by one, then another apps would open up, some times ony on half of the screen, then what you see on the screen would continue to flicker and jitter, it's just horrendous and you have no control over the phone, even trying to restart it was a nightmare, when you can finally restart the phone it will temporarily settle down and then this happens all over again after an hour or two. I returned the phone to the place of purchase I received another new Galaxy 15, it did the same thing. I took the second phone into an authorised Samsung repair agent they could not find anything physically wrong with the phone's hardware, they reinstalled the firmware hoping that may be a fix, however within 24 hours of receiving the phone, again it started to display the same problems, this phone is an absolute disaster, over the last two weeks I've spent countless hours setting up the phone three times. After owning approximately five Samsung smart phones prior, with little to no problems, I now have totally lost confidence with the Samsung brand.

I've had my A15 for a while now, three months i guess, and only yesterday(june 20, 2024)these exact same problems you described started happening. Locking and unlocking the phone solved it, now while i was playing a game it happened again, i hope it's something an update can fix

Try disabling HW overlays in developer mode, it forces GPU for screen compositing

I'm having the same problems. Have to restart several times a day. Samsung A13 never had these issues.

Same here. Restarting multiple times per day. Random actions occurring as if it has had a hundred screen presses at once, and is trying to catch up. Pocket carry is a problem. There is no way the power button can be selected while in my pocket, but somehow my screen gets unlocked, and apps are opened.

I am in the US. Glad to have found this thread.

Randomly happening to me also, I would deactivate double tap on screen to wake phone, as it compounds the issue, anybody know if the latest firmware has resolved this issue?

Thank you. I have now disabled "double tap to turn on screen", and also disabled "double tap to turn off screen".

Nearly every electronic item I own is Samsung, Fridge, TV, Laptops, microwave and every mobile phone I have had over the last 10 years but hey, this A15 is totally pants. Every time I put it in my pocket it either txt's or calls someone or opens maps or Google, got to be worst phone ever. Come on Samsung, what about your loyal customers.???
