I keep getting touchscreen issues. They are resolved by restarting my phone via the power and volume down button. I can't find what is causing this issue. Any ideas to know what would be causing this issue ?
Happens about 4 times a day or more.

Hi HappyB,

We understand how frustrating touchscreen freezes can be, especially when they happen so frequently.

Please try the below troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.

Soft‑Restart the Device. Press and hold Power + Volume Down for ~10 seconds to trigger a soft reset—resolves temporary touch freezes. Works faster than full restart and preserves your session.

Boot in Safe Mode. Hold Power, then tap and hold Restart until the "Safe Mode" option appears. If touchscreen works fine in Safe Mode, a third-party app is likely to blame — try uninstalling recently added apps.

Remove Screen Protector or Case. Dirty, shifting, or layered screen protectors can interfere—temporarily remove the protector and test.

Clear System Cache Partition. Wipe cache partition via recovery menu—can resolve touch issues caused by corrupted system files.

Allow the phone to cool down before playing. High temperature can trigger ghost touches or freezes.

If problems persist, visit a Samsung Authorized Service Center to get the device examined by the service technician.

Thank you.
