Yes, its rated IP67 which means it will able to survive 1 meter underwater up to 30 mins. But this doesn't mean you can take it while swimming or take pics underwater.. IP67 is tested under lab conditions so its not recommended to intentionally submerge the device.
It's rated IP67 means it has dust and water resistance (not water proof). Water resistance feature is made only to protect your device from accidental water damage.
