A52s 5G Battery Issue

Hello po. Meron din ba sa inyo nakaka experience ng battery rapid drain? As kahit naka idle lang. Not connected sa wifi. 60hz refresh rate. As in lahat ng pwedeng tweeks to increase battery life. Sobrang bilis mag drain ng battery. A52s 5G.

Have you tried turning off VoLTE?

Oh hey Hi. Thank you so much. It worked. After turning off VoLTE the battery went to 2 days 2 hours from 1 day 3 hours. Thank you so much. Is this some kind of bug? Because I believe VoLTE is an advanced technology which don't consume to much battery.

I'm glad my solution helped you. I don't really have any idea if its a bug, but it really does consume a lot because of 5G i guess.

I just found this thread and I'm turning off VoLTE as u suggested since I've been having same issue with TS in terms of battery.

question, I can't tick off the VoLTE switch for the sim 2 slot as it is grayed out/disabled -- pero nka ON kc sya dun, is it fine as is?

Or perhaps it's grayed out kc yung bagong sim ng Smart ang pinurchase ko (5G). Is this a factor why it's grayed out?

It's not a 5G SIM issue. Unfortunately, you cant turn off your VoLTE when your auto 5G detection is turned on.
To manually turn off VoLTE, you have to switch to LTE/3G/2G on your Network mode.

I hope Samsung fix this. Kinda hassle to turn it on and off just to extend my battery life.

Ah ok lods. Salamat. I just tried switching the network mode for sim 2 slot pero disabled pa din sya. I'll just leave it as is for now.

Yes lods. But I just can't adjust the 2nd one. I tried tweaking it to 3G/2G di pa din e. No worries! Thanks sa tulong.

Try resetting your sim 2 slot. Turn it off then turn it on after 10secs. See if it works.
