Just bought the A53 5G and I was surprised to see that my youtube resolution setting is only at 1080p max. Playing codm the gameplay graphics are also at a maximum of medium setting, no high and no ultra like in the A52. Netflix streaming only at HD. No 4k????? Camera quality is also grainy and soft. Am i the only one?????

Hello Travissss,

Thanks for reaching out to us here in order to find out if we have members here who have encountered similar experiences with your beloved Samsung Galaxy A53 5G having issues with resolution settings, gameplay graphics, video streaming, and camera quality that did not meet your expectations. If that experience happens to me, I will feel the same.

Comparing your Samsung Galaxy A53 5G with the Samsung Galaxy A52, one distinct difference I've noticed is the GPU (graphics processing unit);  the latter has the Qualcomm Adreno 618, while the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G has the ARM Mali-G68.

In smartphones, the GPU is a central part of the system hardware. It differs from the CPU (Central Processing Unit) by handling the visual rendering elements of a phone's display, whereas the CPU is the brain of the device, handling all the heavy computation and logic behind the screen.

For the camera, you may need to check if there are available software updates on your device by following the step-by-step instructions as follows:

Step 1. Go to Settings > Software update.

Step 2. Tap on Download and install.

Step 3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Step 4. Restart your device.

Also, to sort out the root cause of the issues, you may submit an error report through the Samsung Members app as follows:

Step 1. Long press Samsung Members icon on Apps screen and tap Error reports.

Step 2. Tap OK on agreement popup to send system log data.

Step 3. Select Symptom category "Others" and "Camera".

Step 4. Describe the problem in details and SEND.
