Maybe it's still calibrating with your daily usage.
If you want to maximize battery life, then:
* You should set the screen refresh rate to Standard.
*Also, don't leave it on data, especially if you're not using it.
*Check for the location services and turn it off.
*Screen brightness can really affect battery life big time.
*Check if there's app running in the background such as smartwatch syncing...
* Look for more battery-saving video tutorials on YouTube
*Exposure to heat can deplete battery life faster - keep your device cool.

Yep! Definitely, the device is still calibrating since it's new.

You can maybe try booting into Android Recovery Mode and clearing the cache.
To do this, install Brevent from Play Store. Then, go into settings and enable developer mode and navigate until you find Wireless Debugging. Go into Brevent and set up the app. Once set up, tap the three dash AKA the burger button and click Exec Command. After that, type 'reboot recovery' in the line and click the send icon.
Congratulations, you're now in Recovery Mode!
Navigate the UI with the Volume Up and Down button, find the Clear Cache. Press the power button and it will warn you but just go ahead. After that, press the power button again because another prompt and click Restart Normally.
