Does anybody else have this issue with a brand new phone? Already reached out to Samsung Customer Care via chat and they are recommending that I bring this to a service center. That doesnt make sense to me because I just got this phone a while ago? Shouldn't they be replacing this instead of having this service

Bring the receipt, together with the phone and the box to a Samsung Service Center and ask for replacement. I know you can replace a phone within 7 days if you found a factory defect. The receipt will prove that it is brand new and you bought it from an authorized store.

Update: brought this to Samsung Megamall and this will be replaced. The waiting time however is 7 days. They cant replace this from their stocks because this was purchased online. Lesson learned, never buy from the online store again!!!

Is your device brand new? I may suggest that you need to bring it to Samsung Sercive Center for diagnostic. I hope this will help your concern.

When and where did you purchased your device? Did they get warranty time frame for your device? If it is under warranty you may ask the store where you purchase your device for possible replacement.

Possible cause of the Green lines are a fairly with smartphones, and when this problem occurs, you’ll typically see:

A screen that functions normally, but a thin green line runs all the way from the top to the bottom.

A flickering green line occasionally appearing.

A green line is accompanied by other colors, splotches, and black.

your limited warranty covers part replacement, only time replacement is applicable if its deemed unrepairable

Great, but this is a new phone out of the box. Replacement should be the first option, not just repair. Thanks for the replies.

contrary i know your sentiments been there, but again it follows the rule for warranty, the 7 days replacement rule is in effect but good thing with samsung workmanship is 100%.
