I am a new android user and I am having difficulty with the UI. Why am I seeing so much advertising on the middle of using the device. Specifically ads asking me to install security and other apps?
What is the purpose (advantage) of having a lock screen, a home screen and an app screen. Why not one place you can access everything from?

The Ads you are seeing are from apps that you downloaded & installed on your device - "Free" Apps can be notorious for this - You can review the apps which you installed around the time the problem began.
Install Nice Catch from the Galaxy Store - to see what apps you have installed are causing the Ads 🐧

This is a good program to remove ads as well as add some security. The website is highlighted in the screenshot
