Is it happening only when your device is fully charged, or every time? You can have your phone checked at the nearest Service Center near you, or call the hotline #GALAXY to voice out your concerns.

I understand your situation right now, feeling your inconvenience regarding your device's performance, expecting it to function fully and normal as expected it to be.

Don't worry, we will sort out what are the main reasons behind your device's sound & power buttons by checking out the below items:

1) Ensure that your device is up-to-date with the latest Software Updates through Settings > About Phone > Software Update > Download, if available > Install > Follow On-Screen instructions.

2) Please run the Diagnostics in Samsung Members App.

Next, we need to check, look & feel the power & volume buttons for any accumulated dust, debris, excess oil, of any foreign object. If found, clean the buttons with soft toothbrush and isopropyl alcohol. Wipe it dry with a soft-linen cloth.

4) Restart your device and test both power & volume buttons if its back to working condition.
