Clean your memory by closing background apps to speed up your device by going to [Settings] > [Device Care] > [Memory] and Click Clean. Did your phone has functioning slow? Restart it instead.

First things first it depends on your phone specs, make sure youre in 4G network and what online apps do you have? lag occurrs when resource hungry apps running in background like live feeds, background syncs of your apps and push notifications of your social media apps
