You need to fully understand all the functions ie white balance, aperture, shutter speed etcetera etcetera. That's why it's called Pro. Anyway, another way is to do your own test and see the results. Gone are the days with negatives which every single click is precious. Now, we could simply take thousand of pictures and delete want we don't want, just like that. All the best.
