Why I can't connect my Samsung A12 to our 5Ghz wifi? Any help or answers that you know. Thank you

Is it connecting to 2.4? Test if the issue is the possibly on the router broadcast.

Is it not appearing in the Wifi List? I am not sure, but if 2.4GHz is just the option you can see in the list, maybe your phone doesn't support the 5GHz band? But if I remember correctly, newer smartphones can connect to this band.

Not this entry level phone; I can't connect to 5Ghz wifi either, despite suggestions from other spec sites; just not GSMArena so far.

I found a Samsung Members post outside this region asking the same thing, and they also say 5Ghz wifi isn't supported: https://r2.community.samsung.com/t5/Galaxy-A/Connect-to-5ghz/td-p/7839385

Yes that was I expecting in newer smartphones now. But as I read the articles about Samsung A12 it says, it doesn't support the 5Ghz. So disappointing
